Fortuna Mountain Research Reserve consists of 500 acres located within the boundaries of Mission Trails Regional Park, San Diego, California. At the Mission Trails Visitor and Interpretive Center information can be found on the park's history, natural plant and animal communities, and various activities and destinations within the park.

Habitats
Habitats included within the park boundaries are riparian, oak forests, coastal sage scrub, grasslands, and chaparral. A wide variety of birds, mammal, insects, ect.. can be found on the park grounds.

There are no facilities at FMRR however, there is the Mission Trails Park Visitor Center available on a requested basis.
