SDSU Field Stations Program Scholarships: Graduate Student Research Award

The annually awarded SDSU Field Stations Program Graduate Student Research Award (GSRA) provides outstanding graduate students with financial support for research being conducted at Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve, Sky Oaks Field Station, Fortuna Mountain Research Reserve (within Mission Trails Regional Park), and/or Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve (an auxiliary field station).

Criteria

GSRA applicants must be graduate students in good standing at SDSU, have documented evidence of outstanding ability and promise in research, and have proposed research to be conducted at or encompassing one of the four SDSU field stations. Regional relevancy and work conducted at more than one field station is particularly encouraged.

Application

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2008-2009 SDSU Field Stations Program Graduate Student Research Award.

The GSRA application packet [MS Office] [PDF] is available online or via mail by contacting the FSP office at 619-594-0580. This year's deadline is April 1st, 2008.

Applications will be accepted as either paper copies or digital (pdf) copies. Please submit applications to either:
